Eligibility

Service is provided for residents 60 years of age or older and/or handicapped persons. Service is provided for Lyons Twonship residents ONLY for local shopping, doctor and dental appointments, social meetings, etc. A transportation permit is required for use of the bus. Proof of age, residency and your social security number will be necessary. Permits can be obtained for free at:

Simply call 708-354-0292 OR 708-354-0293 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the DAY BEFORE your trip to reserve a ride. You can use the bus for transportation to the Center to obtain your permit, so long as you have the appropriate documentation with you.
